Strategic Attack For Defense (SA4D) is a network of satellites created by G26 to help maintain peace by neutralizing nuclear weapons. Over 400 satellites were launched into low Earth orbit 600 to 1,200 kilometers above the surface of the Earth.^[1]

In 2036, the Year 2036 Problem caused them to malfunction, and as a result, fired upon the capitals of the G26 nations multiple times causing over 5.1 million deaths worldwide. This event is known as the Sad Morning. Some of SA4D's satellites later crashed into Earth with most of them still left in low Earth orbit.
